Had such a wonderful time on this mini maternity session with this beautiful, young, mother-to-be. With about one week to go before her due date, we wanted to capture a few more last-minute shots. Even shooting at 9:30 in the morning, it was getting warm under a cloudless sky and full sunshine. Be we managed to capture some great images!

Police Night Scene

This is my first Photoshop/Lightroom composite using a photo I took from a local police department public event and a stock photo from the internet. I don’t normally spend time on composites, but this is something I wanted to try.  Perhaps there will be more of these in the future…

I stumbled upon this movie by accident one day while scrolling through Netflix. The bio and trailer caught my attention because it was based on a true story, which I love, and it was about a Life magazine photographer charged with following James Dean.

I won’t spoil the plot for you, but I was intrigued by the story and particularly the details as they pertained to photography. Enough so, that after the movie, I immediately went to Amazon and ordered Dennis Stock’s book containing all these iconic images.

The movie stars Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame. At first, I was reluctant to view the movie because I wasn’t a Twilight fan and “assumed” his acting skills were on par with that series. But I was pleasantly surprised at how well he came into this character.

This movie isn’t for everyone, but if you’re a photographer, you’ll understand how the opportunity of a lifetime can literally fall into your lap.

Hello Friends!

As I transition to hosting the website here on WordPress, I hope you’ll be patient with me. We all know how quickly technology changes, and it was determined from a social and streamline standpoint to move from SquareSpace to WP.

You’ll notice that the website url has changed from my name to Climate B Studios. That’s because in addition to photography, I will be producing and submitting designs and music to go along with the photos I take. So to keep the old url didn’t encompass everything I wanted to share with you. Thus the change.

I look forward to sharing stories, information, and of course, photos with you as this new chapter begins! As always, I welcome your comments, suggestions and feedback to help make this experience better for you.
